He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Newkirk and Faye Newkirk (Bradfield); his wife Marjorie Kobes; and his sister Norma Leckner. He is survived by: his children, Donna Strausser (Glen) of Surprise, AZ, Diane Wilbern (Tom Baker) of Hesston, KS and Ken Newkirk (Donna) of Loveland, CO; his grandchildren, Stacy, Megan (Al), Jeremy (Alison), Matthew and Aurora; his great grandchildren, Alexis (Jason), Albert, Isabella, Lindsay and Molly; and his great great grandchildren, Noah and Amiya. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
