He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Eugene McInteer and Mary Margaret Sutton Waters; and his stepsister Marcia Ann Kurtz. He is survived by: his wife Carol Deck Carton; his daughters, Aimee McInteer Iliff (Del) of Grain Valley, Tara Hampton (Richard) of Raymore and Carrie Marshall (Jason) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Symone, Aleksei, Emily and Shemar; his great grandchildren, Kai, Nadia and Amias; his siblings, Dona Hahn (Rob) of Warsaw, Mike McInteer (Sandy) of Rosenberg, TX and Rich Waters (Debbie) of Baton Rouge, LA; and his half-sister Holly Bingham (Greg) of Kansas City. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Memorials are suggested to First United Methodist Church (for building repairs) or Marshall Philharmonic Orchestra.
