He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Harold Heying and Mary Maud French; his wife Frances "Fran" Perry; and his sisters, Katie Davis (Tom) and Mary Kirchhoff (Calvin).
He is survived by: his children, Mike Heying (Christy) of Marshall, Amy Stringer of Warrensburg, Vicki Toliver of Marshall and Janet Wennihan (Greg) of Fairfax; his grandchildren, Seth, Tabatha, Kylie, Brittney, Hayden, Karson, Kassidy and Jacob; and his brother Ralph Eugene Heying (Jan) of Kansas City. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.
