He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloysius Bernard Gotmer and Kathryn Hagedorn Gotmer; his wife Gladys Holland; his grandson Andy Zeller; his great grandchild Drake Talbott; and his sisters, Judy Fuchs and Maggie Leimkuehler.
He is survived by: his children, Vickie Zeller (Chris) of Boonville, Vonda Gotmer of Springfield, Al Gotmer (Shannon) of Marshall and Mikey Gotmer (Danica) of Marshall; and his sisters, Allyne Sanders of Slater, Joyce Stith of Lake and Patty Nelson of Marshall. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home (226 S Odell Ave, Marshall, MO 65340). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at the Peninsula Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Peninsula Cemetery or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
