She was predeceased by: her parents, James Leonard Newton and Janet Lucille Newton (Hagedorn); and her brother Leonard Keith Newton. She is survived by: her children, Michael Brovey (Erin) of St. Louis, MO and Kimberly Ferrell (Josh) of St. Joseph, MO; her grandchildren, Garret Ferrell, Devyn Ferrell, John Brovey and Everett Brovey; and her sister Christie Newton of Marshall. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Campbell-Lewis Chapel (226 S Odell Ave, Marshall, MO 65340). A prayer was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at the Ridge Park Cemetery (780 E Yerby St, Marshall, MO 65340).
