With sadness, we share the passing of Marjorie Butts of Marshall, Missouri. Marjorie, born on April 17, 1932, passed away on August 22, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Spreitzer and Mary Spreitzer; her husband Wilbur Butts; and her siblings, Raymond Spreitzer, Melvin Spreitzer, Mary Katherine Brumit and Shirley Adcock.
She is survived by: her children, Wilma Marie Johnson, Elizabeth Marquess, Ron Butts and Gary Butts; her siblings, Don Spreitzer (Charlene), Joan Dale (Melvin), Barbara Norconk (Harry) and Joyce Garrison (Jerry); and her sister-in-law Rita Spreitzer. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (1801 S Miami Ave, Marshall, MO 65340). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at the Sunset Gardens Cemetery (1801 S Odell Ave, Marshall, MO 65340).
