He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Robert Bethel and Betty Lou Spencer Bethel; and his brother Jack Bethel. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Joyce Nash; his children, Tracey Hartley of Kansas City, Kimberly Thompson (Paul) of Marshall, Christopher Bethel (Jennifer) of Marshall, Kip Bethel (Jannifer) of Marshall, Susan Bethel of Linn, MO and Roman Bethel (Shelby) of Marshall; his half-sister Donna McNeley of Des Moines; and his sister-in-law Helen Bethel of Marshall. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
