She is survived by: her husband Larry Appel; her daughter Tamara Burg (Aaron); her grandchildren, Ilana Burg and Eva Burg; her daughter Elizabeth Martin (John); her grandchildren, Cody Martin and Kylie Martin; her son Mark Appel (Michelle); her grandchildren, Joshua Appel (Dani), Cameron Appel (Ruthie) and Tanner Appel; her great grandchild Enzo Appel; and her sister Marlene Vogel (Tom).
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the George Renner & Sons Funeral Home (120 N Illinois St, Belleville, IL 62220). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
