He was predeceased by: his mothers, Erna Stokes and Cleo Stokes (Summers); his sister Patty Embry; his daughter Ginny Young; and his brother-in-law Darrell Embry.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Wixson; his son Jeff Stokes; his grandchildren, Morgan Young, Jamie Stokes, Ryan Stokes (Danyelle) and Kayla Poznich (Jason); his great grandchildren, Noah Young, Cleo Young, Chloe Shivers, Koy Stokes, Addi Stokes, Zoe Poznich and Joshua Poznich; and his friend Larry Summers.
