While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Stanley and Mildred Dorothy Hewston; her husband Roland; and her sister Barbara. She is survived by: her former spouse Vayne "Hutch" Hutchins; and her children, Sally Knotwell (John) of Marshfield, Missouri, Randy Schmidt (Mercedes) of Dewey, Arizona and Bill Schmidt (Betty) of Peoria, Arizona.. She is also survived by six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Seasons Hospice, 1831 W. Melville Rd. Springfield, MO 65803 or plant a rosebush in her honor.
