He is survived by : his wife Inocencia Esquivel of Nuevo, CA.; his children, Ruben (Sheila Esquivel), Peter (Sue Esquivel), Mary Gilbert of Marshfield, MO, Esther (Joe VanRoy), Jose Manuel Jr. (Leticia Esquivel), Jesse Esquivel of Nuevo, CA and Eddie Esquivel of Nuevo, CA.; his grandchildren, Matthew, Brittany Esquivel, Daniel, Alex Esquivel, Bryan Esquivel, Mallory Valenciano, Alicia, Justin Ulley, Kelli, Jason Owens, Kayla, Damiun Walker, Makoto, Zach Adams, Mellissa Gilbert, EJ Manley, Peter, Vanessa Gilbert, Michelle Gilbert, Garrett Cardwell, Megan Gilbert, Dillon Harms, Steven VanRoy, Albert Terrazas, Alva Franco, Jose Manuel III, Valerie Esquivel, Mikey and Vanessa Esquivel; his great grandchildren, Jude Esquivel, Caleb Esquivel, Brenden Esquivel, Elijah Owens, Benjamin Walker, Magnolia Walker, Aliyah Manley, Conor Gilbert, Jade Foster, Rowan Foster, Cora Esquivel, Rowley Esquivel and Kostyn Esquivel; his sisters, Consuelo Rodriguez (Tijuana) and Amelia Carrera; and his son-in-law John Gilbert.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A burial was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM.
