We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2025, at the age of 99, Lela Kathleen Hagel (Marshfield, Missouri), born in Elkland, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Lela farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Lela is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Case and Lucille Case (McCool); her husband Bill Hagel; her foster son Jimmy Richmond; and her sister Lenora McNabb.
She is survived by: her sister Carolyn Webb of Camdenton, MO; and her grandson Dwight Richmond. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Fraker Funeral Home (1131 State Hwy A, Marshfield, MO 65706). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the Marshfield Cemetery (627 S White Oak Rd, Marshfield, MO 65706).
