With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Leo Cologna of Marshfield, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Leo left this world on June 10, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis F. Cologna and Henrietta Cologna (Zigelhofer); his siblings, Louis Francis Cologna, Herman George Cologna, Dorothy Tiernan, Maxine Andrews-Ash, Barbara Rivera, James Robert Cologna and Paul Henry Cologna; and his grandson Jonathon Cologna.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Wehmeyer; and his children, Edward Leo Cologna Jr. of Strafford, MO, Frances Ann Cologna of Springfield, MO, Dorothy H. Cologna of Lake Ozark, MO, Raymond J. Cologna (Bob Jensen) of Annadale, VA, Jeffrey L. Cologna (Samantha) of O'Fallon, MO and Anthony J. Cologna (Shelley) of Marshfield, MO. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Day Funeral Home (1075 State Hwy CC, Marshfield, MO 65706). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (515 E Washington St, Marshfield, MO 65706).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Catholic Church or Marshfield Food Pantry in care of the funeral home.
