He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Wyk and Anna Van Wyk (DeJaeger); and his son Ricky Van Wyk. He is survived by: his wife Marie Van Wyk (Powell); his children, Katherine Hoffman, David Van Wyk and Susan Quagliato; his stepdaughter April Bayless (Chris); his grandchildren, Tiffany Ruleman (Scott), Patrick Quagliato (Carmen), Nick Quagliato, David Quagliato, Jacob Van Wyk (Megan) and Jacqueline Van Wyk; his stepgrandchildren, Sage Hyder-Hill and Jordan Bayless; and his great grandchild Ryley Ruleman.
