He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Cook and Mildred Cook; his daughter Brenda Rear; his grandsons, Brian McFadin and Randall Rifenburg; and his brother-in-law Al Weiser.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Sue Cook; his sons, David (Angela Cook) and Darin (Terry Cook); his stepchildren, Teresa Gregory, Sandie McFadin, Skeeter (Tammy Hendrix), Wade (Kim Hendrix), Regina (Chad Springer) and Travis Dampier; and his sisters, Kathy (Mike Hall), Nancy Weiser and Sue (Jimmy Nichols). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests plants.
