We bid farewell to Shirley Bumgarner (Marshfield, Missouri), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 7, 2025 at the age of 88. Shirley touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clay McVay and Freda McVay; her siblings, Carolyn McVay and Jim McVay (Boyd Bumgarner); and her daughter Rhonda Bateman.
She is survived by: her son Randy Bumgarner; her granddaughter Candice Munsey (Stephen); her great grandchildren, Alex, Brandon and Logan; her great great grandchildren, Laylee, Stokely and Ellis; and her siblings, Gary McVay and Wanda Cologna.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Day Funeral Home (1075 State Hwy CC, Marshfield, MO 65706). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at the Marshfield Cemetery (627 S White Oak Rd, Marshfield, MO 65706).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Ozark.
