With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Daniel Raymond Shipley of Marthasville, Missouri, born in Erie, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alan and Miriam; his parents-in-law, Harold and Marie; his granddaughter Kelsey Barber; his great grandchild Trevor Barber; his sister Allene Brighton (late John); and his siblings-in-law, Linda Shipley, Linda Folsom (late Charlie), Jim Heid, John Cloyd and Eddie Cloyd.

He is survived by: his wife Sallie Shipley; his children, Dan Shipley Jr. (Theresa) of Femme Osage, Sara Hiles of Columbia, Rebecca Barber (Anthony) of New Haven, Josh Shipley (Carol) of Marthasville, Elizabeth Barton (Jim) of Washington, Deborah Kane (Patrick) of Kirkwood, Teresa Feldhausen (Scott) of Tucson, AZ and Emily Monzyk (Nate) of Marthasville; his grandchildren, Alex Hiles, Abigail Helfrich, Eley Barber, Isaac, Naomi, Malachi, Miriam, Rachel, Dominic, Jacob, Gabriel, Jeremiah, Ezekiel Shipley, Samuel Ascheman, Nathan, Matthew (Leiana), Ally, Tristan Barton, Connor, Benjamin, Aidan, Eliana Kane, Nick (Ashlyn), Andrew Feldhausen, Norah and Elise Monzyk; his great grandchildren, AJ, Maverick, Laikyn and Colton; his siblings, Joe Shipley of Erie, PA, Jim Shipley (Barb) of Cary, NC and Christine Heid (John) of Erie, PA; and his siblings-in-law, Will Cloyd (Krys) of Ocean City, MD and Trisha Cloyd of Erie, PA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

During COVID, they provided lunches for healthcare workers at Mercy Washington.
