She was predeceased by: her parents, Denton "Ray" Snipes and Helen Irene Snipes (Ross); her husband James Verl "Jim" Runyan; her sister Rosalie Fay Elwell of Warrensburg; her son Robert Ray Runyan of Martinsville; and her daughter-in-law Vickie Runyan.
She is survived by: her son Melvin James Runyan (Jessica) of Blue Springs, MO; and her nieces, Peggy Tuter of Blue Springs, MO, Patty Dinges of Blue Springs, MO and Sue Winsor of Olathe, KS.. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
