He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil McDowell and Anna McDowell; and his siblings, Angie, John, Corene, Mildred, Margie, Odis, Marvin and Theresa.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jean "Jeannie" McDowell; his children, Noelle Lopez (Joe Bank), Andrea Espeland (Randy), Marit Mertz (Greg) and Emily Dorsey (Mike); his grandchildren, Brett, Nicholas, Megan, Austin Espeland, Gabby, Joe, Michael Mertz and Olivia Dorsey; and his sister Jewel Sutton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Incarnate Word Catholic Church (13416 Olive Blvd, Chesterfield, MO 63017). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mack's honor to: BJC Hospice / Evelyn's House Blood Cancer United.
