She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Fischer and Esther Anna Fischer; her sister Nancy Lou Schikore; and her son Todd Burns. She is survived by: her husband James J. Kozel, Jr.; her daughters, Amy Jolly (Daniel Bauer) and Tara Matthews (Ken Somogyi); her stepdaughter Denise Kozel; her sister Sharon Niemeyer (Richard); her grandchildren, Hannah Jolly, Sarah Jolly, Ryan Jolly, Paige Matthews, Mia Matthews and Sophia Groff; her great grandchild Jameson Groff; and her stepgrandchild Ashley Kozel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Debbie's name to BJC Hospice.
