John L. Crider Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John L. Crider of Maryland Heights, Missouri, who passed away on March 27, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Crider and Hazel Crider (Heitman); his former wife Judy Crider; his sister Judy (Frank); and his son Steve Crider.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Crider; his daughter Carrie Fischer (Scott); his grandchildren, Matthew Crider (Karen) and Samantha Valentine (Zach); his great grandchildren, Lillian, Della, Callie, Ellen Crider and Quinn Valentine; his stepchildren, Mark Kennebeck, David Kennebeck (Beth), Brian Kennebeck (Catherine) and Shelly Reuter (Jamie); and his stepgrandchildren, Olivia, Izzy, Lanie Reuter, Allie and Ben Kennebeck. He is also survived by his nieces, nephew and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
