She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie Schmidt and Adolph Schmidt; her siblings, Priscilla Gerhauser and Dwight Schmidt; and her half-siblings, David, Martha and Paul.
She is survived by: her children, Martha Ludwig (Chuck), David Thompson (Mary), Melinda Donaldson (Tom) and Michael Thompson (Karen); her grandchildren, Kelly DeJarnett (David), Billy Thompson (Kim), Rebekah Howard (Jeremy), Hannah Donaldson and Jake Donaldson; her great grandchildren, Maddy DeJarnett, Laura DeJarnett, Will Thompson, Sam Thompson, Evelyn Howard and Ethan Howard; and her half-brother Jonathan Horner.
