He is survived by: his wife Deborah Carrender (Jewell); his stepchildren, William Harper, Althea Stewart, Jennifer Perkins of Webb City, MO and Cassie Gerstner of Springfield, MO; his sisters, Sheryl Moser (Steve) of Jamestown, MO and Charlotte Carrender of O'Fallon, MO; his nephews, Keegan Brower, Korbin Brower and Wes Steenburgen; and his stepsiblings, Kim Steenburgen of Henley, MO, Ivor Steenburgen of Henley, MO, Butch Steenburgen of Henley, MO and Beth Steenburgen of Eldon, MO. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins.
He then went to work in the Construction and Foundation business working as a foreman for Heidbreder Foundation Service.
