He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Lesher and Bernice Lesher (Graves); and his siblings, Dellamae "Dee" Mernin, Pauline "Polly" Hulse, Lyle Lesher, Paul "Bud" Lesher, Gary Lesher and Marion "Ross" Lesher.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Lesher (Debbie) and Michele Helberg (Gary); his stepchildren, Wayne Gamble, Laverne Gamble (Sheryl), Aloma Welch and Irene Field (Richard); and his sisters, Ruth Taylor (Milburn), Naomi Brumfield and Myra Lock (Denny). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Laura Street Baptist Church or the American Heart Association.
