She was predeceased by: her parents, William Robertson and Venetta Robertson (Parker); and her spouse Jerry Summers. She is survived by: her children, LaDena Herbst, Robert Lee Herbst, Avanell Herbst, Tammy Dredge and Linette McClurg; and her brother Robert "Bob" Robertson. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
Her family suggests memorials to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
