He was predeceased by : his parents, Herman C. Seipel and Anna Marie Seipel (Brandt); his children, Robert Seipel, Judy Tibbetts and Billie Jo Seipel; his grandson Steven Seipel; his great great grandchild Lyric Brown; and his siblings, Marie Stuart, Joe Seipel, Helen Owens, Herman Seipel, John Seipel and Richard Seipel.

He is survived by : his daughters, Betty Wilmes (Andy) and Kathy Wallace; and his grandchildren, Melinda Pitts, Kris Wilmes, Kelly Dietzel, Maggie Wilson, Megan Partridge, Kim Ross, Lori Blake, Dylan Wallace, Marnie Johnson and Kenneth Wallace. He is also survived by twenty-five great-grandchildren and twelve great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to Mosaic Hospice.
