Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Ruth leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth James and Beula James (Pettit); her husband Marvin Ellingson; her stepson Bryon Ellingson; and her brother Dean James.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Williams of Maryville; her stepson Benedict Ellingson of St. Joseph; her sister Carolyn Ehredt of Maryville; and her grandchildren, Wendy Hutcherson, Dana Ellingson, Brad Ellingson and Ethan Ellingson. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
