He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Smith; his daughter Karla; and his granddaughter Jaylee. He is survived by: his father Marvin Smith; his wife Sheila Smith (Pritchard); his children, Josh Smith (Rachelle) and Jenny Piatt; his sister Carita Privett (Allen); and his grandson Jared Eads (Natalie, family: Carson Smith, Kala Piatt, Kylee Piatt).
Memorial contributions may be made in Dennis's honor to the Dekalb County Senior Center or Maysville FFA Chapter.
