Allen Fox Obituary

We bid farewell to Allen Fox of Memphis, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 26, 2025 at the age of 87. Allen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan H. Fox and Hettie Fox (Weaver); and his son-in-law Enos Zimmerman. He is survived by: his wife Vera Z. Horst; and his children, Alvin (Sharon Fox), Edwin (Lorraine Fox), Ida Mae (Clay Zimmerman), Allen Jr. (Janet Fox), Steven (Geraldine Fox), Lucinda Zimmerman of Greentop, Luke (Miriam Fox), Paul (Brenda Fox) and Dorcas (Talmon Martin). He is also survived by three brothers; 53 grandchildren 109 great-grandchildren; seven stepchildren; 60 step grandchildren and 102 step great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hillcrest Mennonite Community Center (23098 State Rte M, Memphis, MO 63555). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Indian Creek Mennonite Church.
