She was predeceased by : her parents, Ralph Joseph Kaiser and Doris Louise Harding (Reck); her aunts and uncles, Fern, Earl Eason, Elaine and Al Race; and her father-in-law Clarence Richard Snyder.

She is survived by : her husband Jerald Wayne Snyder; her children, Jason Snyder (Amanda) of Rutledge, Clarence Snyder (Lacie) of Memphis, Stacy Easton (Mike) of Seymour, IA, Christopher Snyder (Jamie) of Iowa City and Karl Snyder of Memphis; her grandchildren, Arysta, Matthew, Cheyenne, Hailey, Brittney, Chandler, Brandon and Serenity; and her brothers, Wayne, Norman Kaiser and Mark Wiater.

Vickey Dole wrote a sympathy message

“So sorry to hear about Diane. our thoughts are with you and your family. Steve still remembers the first time he met her. She was sitting in a Truck in Larkdale on Willow. Duke was standing, I walked up to them and asked him for a cigarette she said Don't give him a cigarette he's not 18, Duke looks at me, shrugged his shoulders as he put the pack away leaving me with a dumb look on my face. now that's love, she was a real firecracker, no qualms saying what she felt. Diane will be missed.”
