She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Shawgo and Millie Shawgo (Malott); her husband Benjamin Dayton Grover; her daughter Sandra Beiermann; and her brothers, Lawrence, Aubrey and Phillip Shawgo.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Dennis Thompson; her brother Raymond Shawgo Jr. (Edie) of Galesburg, Illinois; and her children, Dixie Stitt (Jerry) of Verona, IL, Susan Thompson (Dennis) of Lenoir City, TN, Larry Grover (Debbie) of Washington, IL, Roger Grover (Phyllis) of Memphis and Steven Grover (Melinda) of Memphis. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
She has been residing with her children since Covid hit last March, 2020 as her health began to decline at the same time.
