He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin "Pat" Goucher and Hazel Johnson Goucher; his wife Marsha Goucher; his son Kyle Peterson; and his brothers, Terry Goucher and Melvin Paris.

He is survived by: his daughter Kristi Peterson of Ashland, Missouri; his grandchildren, Christian, Keelee Lalley of Elkhorn, Gabe, Grace Peterson of Omaha, Sascha Peterson of California, Reygan Whitt of Columbia, Kyle, Jadyn and Kynzli Peterson of Ashland, Missouri; his great grandchild Kaysen Lalley of Elkhorn, Nebraska; his brothers, Tim (Marlene "Tuffy" Goucher), Ronnie (Linda Douglas), Kenny (Mitzie Douglas) and Darell Goucher of Kirksville; and his sisters-in-law, Charlotte Paris and Marsha Goucher. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
