He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine Hanson; his father Glenn Clinton Hurley; his son Christopher Hurley; his brothers, Arthur, Glenn Lavern and Roger Hurley; his grandchild Alexis Wolfe; his nieces, Alissa Anders and Angie Gates; and his nephew Clinton Hurley.
He is survived by: his mother Josephine Lucas Hurley of Queen City, Missouri; his children, Jill (Tyrel Wolfe), Donald (Billie Hurley) and Jennifer Stratton of Keokuk, Iowa; his siblings, Joey (Billie Hurley), James (Diane Hurley), Glennda Gates of Livonia, Shirley Anders of Glenwood, Kim (Phil Rojak) and New Guinea; his grandchildren, Jaxom, Megan, Carter, Kristal, Isabella, Christopher and Deana; and his great grandchild Nasiha.
