It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Leslie Louis Heisel of Mendon, Missouri, who passed away at the age of 98, on March 10, 2023. He was predeceased by : his parents, Louis Heisel and Emma Heisel (Pittman); his grandson Gabriel Tucker; his brother Orland Heisel; his niece Dr. Mary Jane Heisel; and his son-in-law John Tomlin.

He is survived by : his wife Thelma Witt; his daughter Joey Tomlin of Jefferson City, MO; his granddaughter Abigail Anton (Clark) of Columbia, MO; his great grandchildren, Maeve, Callan Anton of Columbia, MO and Olivia Tucker of Nebraska; and his nieces, Carey Chamber and Dr. Margaret Heisel.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to be made to St. John's Lutheran Church or Newcomer Cemetery.
