He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Dean Sears and Helen Marie Sears (Ross); and his sisters, Glenda Christy, Jean Mahoney and Donna Downing.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Sears of Mendon; his sons, Jason Sears of Mendon and Kirk Sears (Shelly) of Higginsville; his grandchildren, Tanner Sears (Kirsten) and Torye Sears (Ryan Williams); and his siblings, Kathy Riddle and Jerry Sears. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
