Delores Jean Groves Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Delores Jean Groves of Mexico, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 16, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Sumpter and Della Mae Sumpter; her husband Nelson "Nellie" Groves; and her son Bart Acree of Kansas City. She is survived by: her son Darrell Acree of Springfield; her grandchildren, Brandi Williams (Antonio) of Mexico, Monica Acree (Jamaro) of Columbia, Daniel Acree of Mexico, Shannon Acree (Christine) of Irvine, CA, Jason Acree of Springfield and Roxanne Fargon (Curtis) of Bolivar; her sister Dorothy Menefee of Jefferson City; and her sister-in-law Marjorie Maly of Mexico. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
