We are sad to announce that on August 13, 2023, at the age of 89, Harold Dean Jefferson of Mexico, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Katie Lorene Jefferson and Robert Jefferson; and his brothers, Cecil, Roy Lee and R. E. Jefferson.
He is survived by: his wife Carole Scott; his children, JoAnn Nengel (Jack) of Mexico, Sherry Sonwalt (Bill) of Rush Hill and Robert Jefferson (Laura) of Denver, CO; his brother George Jefferson (Linda) of Wildwood; and his grandchildren, Chris Nichols (Becky), Sarah Kennemore (Steve), Scott Nichols (Sheila), Kelly Sonwalt, Leah Stuart (Jay) and Andy Sonwalt (Logan). He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital or charity of choice.
