She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Ted" Jett and Faye Jett (Dickinson); her spouse Wilbern "Merle" Brown; and her siblings, Ronald "Ronnie" Jett and Erline Borgmann.
She is survived by: her sons, Rorie Gist (Michele) of Santa Fe and Jamie Brown of Florida; her grandchildren, Shayne Gist (Felicia) and Gracie Brown; her great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Rayden and Maverick Gist; and her sister Marsha Lakebrink (Dave) of South Carolina.
