She is survived by : her husband Jim Hanifen; her children, James Gregory "Greg" Hanifen (Patti), Christine Johnson (David) and Kathleen Gronauer (Cliff); her grandchildren, Carrie Sesterhenn (Mike), Emily DelSoldato (Jason), Andrew Gronauer (Tara), Amy Martens (Kevin), Anna Snyder-Kelly (Kevin) and Jane Snyder; her great grandchildren, Reece, Brett, Elaina, Hudson, Alyssa, Everett and Eleanor; and her sister-in-law Elaine Montgomery. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the Mexico Audrain County Library in Mexico, Mo., and Knox County Humane Society in Galesburg, Ill.
