John Russell Isgrig Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on April 23, 2026, at the age of 82, John Russell Isgrig Sr. of Mexico, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Isgrig and Minnis Isgrig (Watts); his significant other Dixie Isgrig; his siblings, Donald Isgrig and Becky White; and his great grandchild Cradell Joseph Haynes.
He is survived by: his children, Reba Gentry (Kevin) of Mexico, Sheila Isgrig of Mexico, John Isgrig, Jr. of Union and Chad Isgrig (Cindy) of Centralia; his stepdaughter Amanda Isgrig of Mexico; his grandchildren, Crystal Kelly, Lisa Stone, Ashley Cross, Matthew Gentry, John Isgrig III, Jessica Isgrig, Austin Isgrig, Colton Isgrig, Carson Isgrig, Hunter Isgrig and Dalton Isgrig; his stepgrandchildren, Stephanie Eickerman, Justin Gentry and Ryan Isgrig; his sisters, Barbara Chambers of Oklahoma, Berniece Chambers of Oklahoma and Janice Kendall of Thompson; and his aunt Betty Matteson. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
