It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Julia Kathryn Smith (Mexico, Missouri), who passed away on February 3, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Doerge and Ida May Doerge (Pierce); and her siblings, Martha Reinerd, Bobby, Donnie and Chuck Doerge.
She is survived by: her husband Robert L. Smith; her brother Bernard Doerge (Alvera) of Hallsville; and her brother-in-law Ron Reinerd. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and several step-grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rush Hill Community Church.
