It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret L. Steuber of Mexico, Missouri, who passed away on January 27, 2026, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Black and Nora Black (Foster); her husband John Steuber; her son Floyd Ray Steuber; her son-in-law William Walker; and her great grandchild Joshua Oakes.

She is survived by: her daughter Linda Walker of Mexico; her daughter-in-law Leslie Steuber of Mexico; her sister Mary Ellen Davidson of Blackstone, Illinois; her grandchildren, Becky Schafer (Noel) of Martinsburg, Mary Jo Oakes of Mexico, John Steuber (Janet) of Columbia, Shawn Steuber of Mexico and Eric Steuber (Chris) of Columbia; her great great grandchildren, Brandon Schafer (Haley) of Mexico, Stephan Schafer (Megan) of Martinsburg, Caroline James (Nick) of Vandalia, Jessica Reichers of Wellsville, William Oakes (Kim) of Longmont, Reed Steuber (Taylor) of Charleston, Brennan Steuber of Columbia, Robert "Zach" Steuber (Stephanie) of Auburndale, Nolan Steuber (Ciara) of Columbia, Morgan Steuber (Crystal) of Columbia, Sean Steuber (Rebekah) of Kansas City, Luke Steuber (Morgan) of Columbia, Katheryn Steuber of Columbia, Paige Steuber of St. Louis and Reagan Steuber of Columbia; Blayke, Bristol, Hudson, Tate, Clinton, Ruth Fay, Clayton, Carter, William, Jacob, Allison, Patrick, Timothy, Ethan, Chase, Colton, Emma and Finley. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
