We announce the death of Michael W. Hightshoe of Mexico, Missouri, who passed away on September 26, 2026, at the age of 77. Michael will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Warner and Ruby Mae Hightshoe (Senor); his stepmother Patricia Eads Hightshoe; his siblings, Peter Paul Pincolic, Ralph Hightshoe and Vickie Hightshoe; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Larson and Lisa Hightshoe.
He is survived by: his son Jayson Hightshoe of Rosston, Arkansas; his siblings, John Hightshoe of Mexico, Bill Hightshoe of Auxvasse, Jerry Hightshoe (Julie) of Mexico, Terry Hightshoe (Dawn) of Mexico and Karen Larson of Newport News, Virginia; his sister-in-law Kathy Hightshoe of Martinsburg; and his grandchildren, Jayson Aaron Taylor, Colin Charles Scott Hightshoe and Chanleigh Ann Hightshoe. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery (1900 W Liberty St, Mexico, MO 65265).
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
