He was predeceased by: his parents, James Blair and Elsie Elizabeth Blair (Hunt); his wife Phyllis "Jane" Blair; his brother Raymond Blair; his grandson Ryan Blair; his siblings-in-law, Russell Polston, Anna Lois Blair and Mary Blair; and his nephews, Henry Blair and Mike Blair.

He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Blair, Debbie Allen (Mitch) of Hamilton, David Blair (Melissa) of Mexico, Joe Blair (Jennifer) of Moberly and Jeff Blair (Tanis) of Mexico; and his siblings, Patsy Polston and Russell Blair. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren.
