He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Schremp and Edith Schremp; his son Richard Ray Schremp II; his grandparents, Strode, Wanda Edwards, George and Annie Schremp; and his in-laws, Juanita and Lucian Bird.
He is survived by: his wife Terri; his children, Katherine Schremp and Brian Schremp (Christine); his grandchildren, Nolan Reeves, Maggie Reeves, Richard Kael Reeves, Addie Schremp and Haley Schremp; and his sister Karen Schremp Jung.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Arnold Funeral Home (425 S Jefferson St, Mexico, MO 65265). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (400 Lakeview Rd, Mexico, MO 65265).
The family requests memorial donations be made to Shriners Children's Hospital, Mid – Missouri Food Bank or Autism Speaks.
