We are sad to announce that on October 25, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Shirley Merkl of Mexico, Missouri, born in Mendota, Illinois. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Shirley Merkl to show support.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Glenn Mealey and Dorothy Mealey; her brothers, Jim Mealey and Glenn Mealey Jr.; and her grandson Terry Bulfer.

She is survived by : her husband Anton Merkl; her daughters, Luxie Merkl (Jay Hurst) of Grantsville and Linda Barnes (Wayde) of Mexico; and her grandchildren, Tony Bulfer (Jama) of Magna, Tim Bulfer (Tia) of Sugarhouse, Tom Bulfer (Heidi) of Grantsville, Trish Barnes of Mexico and Jessica Barnes of Mexico. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
