She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald E. Forbis and RoVera Forbis (Debo); and her brother Paul Forbis. She is survived by: her husband Doug Yates; her children, Rose Yates of Mexico and Kristopher Yates of Mexico; her grandsons, Kavion Scott of Mexico and Atlas Yates of Mexico; and her siblings, Cindy Renn (Paul) of Jefferson City and John Forbis (Patricia) of Florence, Missouri..
