She was predeceased by: her parents, John Herbert and Mildred Gardner (Kemp); and her siblings, Veryl Forrest, Janice Wilkerson, John Herbert Gardner, Jr., Mamie Gardner and James "Pete" Gardner.
She is survived by: her son Todd Gardner (Vickie) of Mexico; and her grandchildren, Marcus Johnson of Mexico, Chad Gardner (Whitney) of Mexico, Tamara Gardner of Mexico and Toddneisha "Nikki" Fugate of Seattle, Washington. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Second Missionary Baptist Church (418 E Breckenridge St, Mexico, MO 65265). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to Second Missionary Baptist Church.
