With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anjealus Crooks of Milan, Missouri, born in McKinney, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 15, 2025 at the age of 18. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Anjealus departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Anjealus may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Anjealus leaves behind.
He is survived by: his parents, Adriaan Vermeulen and Lynda Vermeulen; and his siblings, Nikko Vermeulen, Koda Parker-Vermeulen, Tiffany Knapp, Briann Parker, Marissa McNiel, Katie Meis and K. K. Vermeulen. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
