She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley W. Young and Nettie J. Young (Clelland); her husband Marvin Dale Smith; and her siblings, Geraldine Morris, Betty Dodson, Margaret Branstetter, Linda Gretlein, John, Billie, Glen Alvin and James Young.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Sue Moyer (Frank) of Kansas City, MO, Darren Dale Smith (Deana) of Kansas City, MO and Mitzi Dawn Shipley (Greg) of Unionville, MO.; her grandchildren, Natalie Moyer, Josh Moyer (Beth), Ryan Moyer (Abi), Destiny Smith, Devon Smith, Jacob Shipley (Lauren) and Samantha Hendershott (Kirk); her stepgrandson Chris Moyer (Andrea); her great grandchildren, Brycen Moyer, Mason Moyer, Logan Moyer, Arlo Shipley, Hudson Moyer and Hazel Shipley; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Corbin Moyer, Carter Moyer, Konner Hendershott and Kellan Hendershott; her brother Donald Ray Young of Venice, FL; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Baldwin (Smith) of Kansas City, MO. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ruschmeier-Smith Funeral Home (120 W 4th St, Milan, MO 63556). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
